Client
Rights of a Client
- An electronic Brief has been created which you have access to.
- You will be given access in the User category Client.
- Who can access the Brief is controlled by a Brief Manager or Administrator.
- The Brief Manager is the principal person managing the Brief.
- You can view details of documents in the Brief you are permitted to access, sort details of documents by fields including date of document, and download copies of the documents.
- You will not necessarily have access to all documents in the Brief.
- You will only see details of documents that a Brief Manager or Document Manager has permitted you to see.
- You will not be able to change documents on the Brief or upload documents.
What you can see
- You will only be able to access a Brief if a Brief Manager or Administrator has permitted access.
- You will only be able to see a document within a folder in a Brief if the person who filed the document has permitted access by a Client.
- You will be able to download a document if you can see its details in a folder.
What you can & can't do
- A Client will not necessarily have access to all documents in the Brief.
- A Client will only see details of documents that a user with authority to upload documents has permitted the Client to see.
- A Client will not be able to change documents on the Brief or upload documents.
