Rights of Document Manager

  1. Who can access the Brief is controlled by a Brief Manager or an Administrator. The user rights of an Administrator and Brief Manager are different from those of a Document Manager.
  2. A Document Manager can upload, download, edit and delete information from the Brief.
  3. A Document Manager can sort details of documents by fields including date of document.
  4. A Document Manager can change the information on Cloudbrief about a document and copy and move documents between folders for a given Brief.
  5. A Document Manager cannot a create, change details or structure of, archive or delete Briefs.
  6. A Document Manager will not necessarily have access to all documents in the Brief.
  7. A Document Manager will only access and see documents that a Brief Manager or another Document Manager has permitted the Document Manager to see.

Rights of Document Filer

  1. A Document Filer can upload and download documents, edit and delete information from the Brief.
  2. A Document Filer can sort details of documents by fields including date of document.
  3. A Document Filer can change the information on Cloudbrief about a document but, unlike a Document Manager, cannot copy and move documents between folders for a given Brief.
  4. A Document Filer cannot create, change details or structure of, archive or delete Briefs.
  5. A Document Filer will not necessarily have access to all documents in the Brief.
  6. A Document Filer will only access and see documents that a User with authority to upload documents has permitted the Document Filer to see.

Rights of Viewer

  1. A Viewer can see details of documents in the Brief, sort details of documents by fields including date of document, and download copies of documents.
  2. A Viewer will not necessarily have access to all documents in the Brief.
  3. A Viewer will only see details of documents that a user with authority to upload documents has permitted the Viewer to see.
  4. A Viewer will not be able to change documents on the Brief or upload documents.

Rights of Client

  1. A Client category of User has the same rights as a Viewer but only for those documents that have been selected as accessible to the category of Client.
  2. A Client can see details of documents in the Brief, sort details of documents by fields including date of document, and download copies of the documents.
  3. A Client will not necessarily have access to all documents in the Brief.
  4. A Client will only see details of documents that a user with authority to upload documents has permitted the Client to see.
  5. A Client will not be able to change documents on the Brief or upload documents.

Rights of Expert

  1. An Expert category of User has the same rights as a Viewer but only for those documents that have been selected as accessible to the particular category of Expert (Expert 1, Expert 2 or Expert 3).
  2. An Expert can upload documents.
  3. An Expert can see details of documents in the Brief, sort details of documents by fields including date of document, and download copies of the documents.
  4. An Expert will not necessarily have access to all documents in the Brief.
  5. An Expert will only see details of documents that a user with authority to upload documents has permitted the Expert to see.
  6. An Expert will not be able to change documents on the Brief or upload documents.
